4 Relationship Takeaways from Mathira’s Interview

Mathira’s name needs no introduction. She is a model, actor, television host and is known for not holding her opinions back. The famous television personality recently opened up about her abusive marriage with musician Farran J. Mirza aka Flint J that ended in 2018. However, the two continue to co-parent their son Ahil. Speaking at a show at a private news channel, Mathira revealed how despite of her bold personality, she tried to make things work but was subjected to domestic abuse and trauma.
Here are four relationship takeaways from her interview.

Domestic violence is NOT ok:

Having been subjected to domestic abuse herself, Mathira says if a man hits you once, he will hit you twice and this series of manipulation never stops.

Insecurities add to relationship woes:

Maintaining a balance is extremely important in a relationship. Insecurities coming from family members create problems for a couple.

Relationship is a teamwork:

Trying to save a relationship despite of abuse is ‘mental slavery’. Relationships are a team effort and it can never be a one-sided effort to save them.

Secrets of a successful marriage:

It takes two to tango. There has to be mutual respect and care.
